Hey, this year I'm planning to record an amazing bee hive. I'm not doing the historic recreation on 12.12.12, but I am working with stereographs in other ways: http://kck.st/So7Ori

I would love to see some new historic photo recreations...what are you thinking of filming for 12.12.12?

Hello all! Here at One Day on Earth, we're gearing up for 11/11/11 and we want you to join! Anyone thinking of something new for November?

I suppose so, but I wouldn't know how to go about it. I'd be the one researching the history of the local press or more likely standard issue military gear to ID cameras.

... or at least the focal lengths.

wow, Ethan. Those are beyond awesome. In your opinion, would it be possible to calculate the lenses used using trigonometry? I'm thinking this could be math project.

I reshot historical stereographs in indonesia this year and saw this World War 2 project when I came back. They are impeccable matches. I think the photographer, Sergey Larenkov, probably researched which lenses were used in the originals and used the same.
