About Focus on Film:

FOCUS ON FILM is a non-profit organization that provides quality educative experience in visual media for youth in Hong Kong.
FOCUS ON FILM uses production in various techniques of film making to inspire young people to become better creative problem solvers, leaders and out of the box thinkers.

FOCUS ON FILM has as its ultimate goal to stimulate the development of a thriving youth driven community arts scene with a design towards getting young people involved in media art production and providing them with outlets for their work to be shown. Focus on Film strives to empower youth creatively, creating as a result, a heightened sense of self esteem in all participants. Learning how to think outside the box and access creative potential is a direct result of learning how to lead a team on a film shoot. Focus on Film aims to provide this experience for all youth, regardless of background.

Children and Young People need time and space to create and a platform from which to present their work to a receptive audience. Without these opportunities a whole generation loses the self esteem necessary to become positive leaders of tomorrow.
