Borders 12.12.12

Education - Projects

Members: 12
Latest Activity: Dec 9, 2012

This geography based project focuses on borders in our towns, cities, states, and countries. Students will identify a border and document it through video, photography, interviews and writing. We recommend using Lesson 2, ‘Choosing your Topic', to help your students find a focus for the Borders Project. Hi teachers, will your students be filming a project about borders for 12.12.12? Let me know what you are thinking this year!

We are crossing the border from Wales to England on that day. Agnieszka

Turns out we will be camping at a state park, which of course, has a border. Perhaps is would interesting to try to document the difference between the interior and exterior of the park. Or all the different borders we encounter on 11.11.11.

I live in San Diego and teach at the CSU in San Marcos. How about the Mexican-American border for a hot topic?
