About Ape Action Africa:
Ape Action Africa works on the front lines of great ape conservation, where addressing immediate threats to survival of gorillas and chimpanzees is as important as is working together with local communities to find long term solutions for living sustainably with the rainforest.
We rescue and rehabilitate survivors of the horrors of the illegal bushmeat and pet trades, and provide them a safe, long-term home in lush, rainforest habitat.
Areas and/or countries that your organization services? : Ape Action Africa works solely in Cameroon, in western Equatorial Africa, which is one of the last places on earth still home to wild gorillas and chimpanzees.
