Every day, people are forced to leave their homes. Some escape persecution and conflict. Others run out of hope as drought, famine or flooding wipe out their livelihoods. Some manage to stay in their home countries, others have to cross borders, in some cases many borders. With this journey comes a label, whether it be displaced person, migrant, refugee or asylum-seeker. Behind these terms are individuals, whose stories of courage are often forgotten.
