I posted my videos on my page, all about French local food or flowers.
If any iearn member wants to use it, say so!

Hi Shukufa!
Yes, please upload the 10.10.10 videos using the link on the homepage of http://www.onedayonearth.org - it will prompt you to get a vimeo.com account if you don't have one. Read each instruction carefully, and I'm sure you'll get it. If you have trouble, please let us know!
Once you're successful, your video will show up at the bottom of your ODOE page. Then, please share the URL address of your video on the iEARN forum!
Best-
Chris

Hi Shukufa -

Sure - I'm happy to help.

I have a lot to learn in teaching videography (this was my first time ever giving a video assignment) but nevertheless it has been a very fun experiment!

Hi everyone -
It's been one week since 10.10.10. How did your students (and you) do last Sunday? I can't wait to see some of your videos! We have another three weeks to upload them. Please be sure to post the URL to each students' video in the iEARN One Day in the Life forum - and maybe here as well!

Please let us know if we can be of any help.

All the best-
Chris

You can embed from vimeo, but you have to use thier 'old embed code', and I think you can only get this from your page on vimeo. (we're working on a better solution).

Go to your video's page within your Vimeo account and click on the embed button (on the right side of the player when you mouse over.) At the top of the dialog box that pops up it will give you a link to "use old embed code", clicking it will change the embed code.

You can change the size in the custom embed options if you want, but the max size viewable on most ning pages is 500 pixels wide.

Copy and paste into any comment box on the One Day on Earth website. Add Comment. Done.

Looking forward to seeing your stuff.

Hmmm... I'm wondering the same thing, Mbarek.

I discovered that on my Macintosh, I had to use Safari rather than Firefox to upload my test video, but I did manage to upload it via ODOE (to http://vimeo.com/15755743 ) However, I don't see any reference to it on this website. (Should there be?)

I did speak to Brandon Litman (the Exec. Producer of ODOE) on Sunday afternoon and he assures me they are working out all the bugs and are ready to help us all solve our technical problems. (We do have a full month to upload, so we have plenty of time to iron these things out!)

Good luck and keep me posted. I will do the same as I try to understand the whole process!
