Share with all iEARN members about the party held for the National Day in Taiwan by the Kaohsiung City Government. In the last film, a student also showed his student ID about his Oct tenth birthday with you.

cheers,
Susan ^_^

The big day is upon us, everyone! Good luck!

Keep it simple, keep it short, keep it interesting, keep it special, but get your students and YOURSELF out there on Sunday!

Don't worry about how to upload your work - we'll figure that out later.

All the best, and the best of luck-
Chris

I just sent this letter home to parents-

Dear parents,

This Sunday, October 10th (10/10/10), photography students at the MVRHS will be participating in a unique international video project called "One Day on Earth." Filmmakers and students from every country in the world will simultaneously document a little bit of their lives in an electronic time capsule which will be shared over the coming months on their website - http://www.onedayonearth.org/ - and perhaps even ultimately in a theatrical film. (And it's not just for students - you can join too!)

We are asking all MVRHS photography students to find any sort of digital video camera - a still camera with a video mode, a cellphone, a webcam, or even a still digital camera (to make a time-lapse animation from) and document part of their life on Sunday in video. This could be anything from making breakfast to watching birds at a bird feeder to walking through town - find an interesting subject in some good light that will tell a small story we can share. This footage will be brought to school next week, a selection of no longer than four minutes chosen by each student, the video uploaded to their website, shared with the world, and discussed with students from around the planet.

Students should get verbal permission from any identifiable human subjects before bringing footage to class (and be prepared to go back and obtain a written release, in the small but possible chance that the filmmakers ask us to include the footage in their film.)

If you have any concerns or questions about this project, please don't hesitate to contact me.

All the best-
Chris

Mike, if you have videos you want to post on our site from vimeo, all you have to do is click the "embed" button on your video's page, they copy and paste the code, we'd love to see your videos....

Mike,
They won't be posting the uploader until after 10-10-10....I believe if you check back on Monday it will be quite obvious were you should post :)

I made a video of my drive home and would like some feedback on it. However, Where do I upload it to? I did upload it to Vimeo under my username but where should we be uploading all our videos to? And how?
