Call to Action: Share Your Water.

Without water, life would not exist. It is a prerequisite for all human and economic development. On 11.11.11 Water.org invites our supporters to share with the world how you access life’s most precious commodity, in order to remind the world not to take water access for granted and to bring new attention to water access inadequacies that need to be improved. About Water.org:
Without water, life would not exist. It is a prerequisite for all human and economic development. This 10.10.10 we invite you to share with the world how you access life’s most precious commodity. Whether tap, well, river, or otherwise, capture your water source on video and add it to the world document. Together, our efforts will remind the world not to take water access for granted and will bring new attention to water access inadequacies that need to be improved. Footage that you create will potentially be used in a feature film, as well as a short film created specifically for Water.org, and will live in perpetuity in One Day on Earth’s global archive. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org is a nonprofit organization that has transformed hundreds of communities in Africa, South Asia, and Central America by providing access to safe water and sanitation. Water.org traces its roots back to the founding of WaterPartners in 1990. In July 2009, WaterPartners merged with H2O Africa, resulting in the launch of Water.org. Water.org works with local partners to deliver innovative solutions for long-term success. Its microfinance-based WaterCredit Initiative is pioneering sustainable giving in the sector.
When you upload your video please be sure to tag it "Water.org."

We have produced a documentary on World Water Day in Malaysia. We thought it would be good if we inform you about this activity.
