We have visited Turkey and we know that Turkey is a very beautiful country.Thank you for reminding us about Turkey's beautiful nature.
My students have started uploading their photos today. It will take them a week. Then they will collaborate with Lesa Childers' students from Kansas. After that they will join the IEARN forum.
I am a teacher at Beaconhouse School System Primary Branch VI, North Nazimabad. Students have captured some videos and pictures during their school hours and at their home also. I will soon upload them.
Regards,
Mina
Yes, students capture photos and recorded video in the school, only a few students documented their rest of the say at home. Soon I'll upload their work on the forum.
Dear iEARN friends,
How did 11-11-11 go for you? Have you spoken to your students yet? Was anyone able to shoot video from your school or community?
So what should you do next?
1) If you or your students shot video, please upload it to One Day on Earth using the big "Click Here To upload your footage" link on the homepage ( http://www.onedayonearth.org ). Use Firefox or Chrome, if you can, and follow their directions carefully. The video will be uploaded to Vimeo. Be patient! It can take time. Students aged 13 and up can make an account and upload their own video, if you like.
2) Be sure to copy your Vimeo URL link, and then post it in our iEARN One Day in the Life forum at http://foro.iearn.org/.ee70728 under "11.11.11 Documents" together with a description of your video.
3) If your students made photographs or drawings instead, please ask them to post their favorites to iEARN's One Day in the Life forum at http://foro.iearn.org/.ee70728 under "11.11.11 Documents". They should post a message with the caption, and then attach one image file (preferably a jpeg) to each post. Older students can also post images to their One Day on Earth (ODOE) profile as well, and they might consider making a short video slideshow out of them to upload to Vimeo as part of the ODOE project.
4) If students made text documents or other media, or are simply reflecting upon their day afterward, please ask them to post their work to iEARN's One Day in the Life forum at http://foro.iearn.org/.ee70728 under "11.11.11 Documents".
5) Encourage your students to give feedback to at least TWO posts in the iEARN forum, and older students can post feedback on the One Day on Earth website as well!
We have three or four weeks to upload video to ODOE in order to be part of their continued film project. There's no deadline for iEARN forum posts about 11.11.11. Take your time!
And if your students did NOT participate in 11.11.1, we hope they can participate in the ongoing One Day in the Life project on iEARN!
All the best and good luck-
Chris
Hi to all of you, I am so happy that I could participate in very small thing for 11-11.
I want to explain some thing about the event which I couldn't collect photos or videos from my students because it is Eid ( Festival days ) most of people travelled out side Sana'a and also the situation in Sana'a is very BAD- I mean the the revolution or the unrest situation between the government and the protesters but I wish I could take some thing from them soon, maybe they will post their videos by them self.
HELLO EVERYONE,
My students captured their routine day in the school. Soon they will upload their work on the forum and will write about it.
I am teacher in Beaconhouse School System middle branch north Nazimabad karachi. The event went so well . The students actively participated to capture moments of daily routine during school premises. Moreover few students sent me email from their homes , the way they captured it outside the school premises with their own cameras:)
Hello from Croatia!
My students, girls and boys aged 11 - 14, took photos of different school activities today. Our plan is to arrange photos, add some text to explain what they are doing in the photos. They'll do it with Photopeachand Animoto.
Here we are in the project from Baku the city of winds. . We also decided to video short films about school life in our XXI Century IEIC. It's a great education centre. We hope you'll like our videos and comment on them actively. The decision to make school videos was a result of long discussions. The students didn't know what to film on the day, but as it was a school day and the last day before autumn holidays we decided to film several school activities. Please wait for the videos!
