FRESH aims to stimulate a dialogue on the future of food amongst the University community. The food we eat, how we eat it and where we source it from does have an impact on the landscape, livelihoods and culture in another part of the world.
As 11.11. is World Food Day F.R.E.S.H. has organized an Eat - In. Event in wich free meal is served around big table in order to raise awareness on the impacts of our need for food on the local comunety, but also on the World as a whole. Meal is prepared from groceries obtained partly from the student garden and partly donated from the local farmers. Vegetables that farmes donates can not be sold on the market only because they do not satisty aesthetic parameters.
