The eradication of hunger & poverty is completely dependant on the wise use o, protection of and respect for the eco system. Quite often breaking this inter-dependancy apart results in failure of a programme. I do commmunity upliftment and outreach projects, and am struggling to get funding as it addresses so many aspects. The point of departure is food security based on organic produce, but it can be scaled to need, and encompasses skills ransfer, sustainable livelihoods, greening of the environment, nutrition and health, indigenous flora & flora, traditional lifestyles & wisdom, etc. Where do I post this too? Which category? Health, education, environment, poverty?
