Here is the link to upload your videos http://uploader.onedayonearth.org/ It will walk you through each step. If you have large file, you'll need a Vimeo Pro account, otherwise you will only be able to upload 500MB at a time. You have until January 13th, 2013 to upload your footage. And remember to keep a copy of your raw footage! Thank you for participating, I look forward to seeing your video!

Hi Robert!

You can upload the footage any time after filming on December 12, 2012 and before January 15, 2013 which is the deadline for submissions.

As for the format, we accept all resolutions in the following file types: asf, asx, avi, divx, dv, dvx, m4v, mov, mp4, mpeg, mpg, qt, wmv, 3g2, 3gp, 3ivx and 3vx.

You can edit the footage or leave it raw, that is completely up to you. What we do ask is that you keep a backup copy of the raw footage for possible future use (whatever footage makes it into the final documentary needs to be taken from the raw and uncompressed video file).

All that is expected of the participant is that you film on December 12 to make sure that we get your story as part of the One Day On Earth experience. If you need inspiration on what to film, our theme this year is "What do you have" and "What do you own" but you are free to film anything you want.

Let me know if you have any more questions. Cheers!

Johanna
