Ni Hao Ma. (I'm sorry I know only a little bit in Chinese and cannot tell from kanji what dialect you have written in, so I will go with what I know in Mandarin.)
Yes, I am. I have continued my work with the It Gets Better Project both personally in the way I live each day, being involved and supporting other initiatives in my community and by touring with our video. I did a 2 week tour in August, where we showed the video and I presented it and did a question and answer session. It went really well and I've been tentatively invited to go back for a month next year and speak at a series of celebrations for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community in California next summer. There's also interest in submitting the film to festivals and doing additional screening events. I actually wanted to wait on that until the 2010 One Day on Earth film was finished. We were told we were selected to be one of the featured story lines but we haven't heard anything back since then. This is such a big issue here in the US and around the world, we were thrilled by the opportunity to raise awareness and document the positive action to address bullying in the US through the It Gets Better Project while contributing to ODOE!
I'm intending to contribute something this year although it may be very different! I'm just finishing another project as we speak so I haven't really had time to set up my profile for 2011 but I'm still planning to participate!
Thanks so much for reaching out. What are you doing for ODOE?
