- I want to try to see how how people try to find meaning in their lives in a world where many of us no longer turn to religion to provide for the answers to the big questions in life. I especially find the ambivalence between wanting to be unique and wanting to belong somewhere particularly interesting.
This is something I think changes a lot over time and therefore I feel the need to document it, maybe by filming people being in different cultural environments and doing stuff that's really important to them.
