Local Beaches is an environmental awareness based project that urges your students to explore the ecology of a nearby ocean, lake, or river. Students will document their local body of water through photography or video. I'll be on the beach, maybe 2-3 times during the day- morning, afternoon, and sunset....although I might skip the morning depending on how early I get up :)

Rickett's Point Marine Sanctuary , Beaumaris, Victoria Australia. A well used community beach, dogs morning and night, kids on windsurfers, teahouse, walking paths, rockpools etc i am going to document its use in 10 images over 10 hours to see just how it is utilised

Toora beach is close to our school and is great for bird watching and fishing so seems a good choice for filming on the 10th.

I have a big front beach by the atlantic sea, north of Portugal, with diferent attractions, sports, fishermens and sea ports. Maybe i'll have do some research, think about it.... and hope for some good weather in October... :-)
