Hi everyone -

The premiere of the One Day in the Life film is only two weeks away, and I understand that at least two iEARN teachers – Zeenat Munir from iEARN-UAE and Irina Knyazkova from iEARN-Russia – will have theirs or their students' work from 10.10.10 featured in the film. (I should remind everyone that I have no idea who is or is not in the film unless you tell me. I haven't seen it yet, either!)

Did you also receive any sort of email from ODOE telling you that yours or your students' work would be in the final film? Let me know and I will spread the good news!

It is my understanding that this film will feature work from 10.10.10 not 11.11.11 (which will presumably be in a second film to be released next year.)

Below is my old list of One Day on Earth videos made on 10.10.10 by iEARN students and teachers. It's quite incomplete (Zeenat's and Irina's weren't even on my list!) Did I miss you as well? Please contact me and I'll add it! And if you haven't already, please take a look at some of these wonderful short films made on 10 October 2010. (I will also make and send out an updated version of my terribly incomplete list of 11.11.11 iEARN participants.)

Hello everyone,

11.11.11 was a holiday for my fifth grade students from Bedford, MA (North of Boston). Our class documented 11.11.11 by filling out a food log, taking pictures, and writing down activities we did on this holiday. In school, we then worked in groups to come up with ways to represent our day through a paper slide video. Each group worked around a different theme: Activities, Meals, Veteran's Day, beautiful/interesting scenes, and wake-up/bed times. The following is the link to our final product.
